Q: How can I purchase a ticket?
A: Tickets cost $150 and can be purchased:

  • Online using credit card
  • By phone at 1-888-588-6596
  • In-person at the Dream Home Open Houses and the following locations:

Monday – Friday

  • Swish Maintenance (760 Development Drive) 8am – 5pm 
  • Boys and Girls Club (1300 Bath Road) 8am – 5pm
  • YMCA (100 Wright Crescent) 8am – 5 pm
  • Save On Blinds (699 Gardiners Road, Unit 4) 10am – 4pm 
  • CAA (RioCan Centre, 768 Gardiners Road) 9am – 5pm
  • Petrie Ford (1388 Bath Road) 9am – 5pm

Q: When can I visit the Dream Home in person?
A: If visiting on weekends, please reserve your Open House visit in advance using our website. Attendance is limited. Priority will be given to those who reserve in advance.

  • Tuesdays – Thursdays 11:00am – 6:00pm 
  • Fridays 5:30pm – 8:30pm 
  • Saturdays & Sundays 10:00am – 4:00pm

Q: If I purchase my ticket online or over the telephone, how will I receive my ticket?
A: A digital copy of your ticket, including your ticket number, will be emailed to you. Check your spam folder if you do not receive confirmation within 5 minutes of purchase. If you opted to receive a physical copy by mail (when purchasing online), it will be sent to you by post as well.

Q: If I do not have an email address can I still purchase a ticket online or over the phone?
A: Yes, we will mail a physical copy of your ticket to you. Please note there will be a $10 additional charge to cover printing and postage.

Q: Where is the Dream Home located?
A: The Dream Home is located at 1517 Shira Drive, Kingston, Ontario, K7P 0S3. 

Q: Do I have to live in the house for a period of time if I choose to sell the house?
A: No, there are no restrictions on when you can sell the home.

Q: What type of capital gains would I pay if I decide to sell the house?
A: Based on being an Ontario Lottery, the values of all prizes are tax-free.

Q: What should I do if I have concerns about my gambling, or the gambling of someone else?

Q: Who is the builder for this year’s Dream Home?
A: Tamarack Homes.

Q: What Model/Floor Plan is this year’s Dream Home?
A: Tamarack Homes Payton II Custom Model # 3825.

Q: I am interested in building my next home with Tamarack Homes, how do I get started?

Q: How many bedrooms does the home have?
A: Four Bedrooms on the second level.

Q: Is the furniture on display included in the grand prize of the Dream Home?
A: Yes! All furniture and window accessories on display are included in the grand prize. Additionally, the appliance package including washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and microwave are included!

Q: Who designed the 2024 Dream Home?
A: Tamarack Homes’ designer Jacqui Collier did all of the interior selections, and The Real Home Reset did all of the furnishing and decorating!

Q: How much is the house valued at?
A: The Grand prize is valued at $1,500,000 including landscaping, appliances, furniture and the home.

Q: How big is the Dream Home?
A: Total square footage is 3622 sqft. of finished living space including 927 sqft. in the basement, 1252 sqft on the main floor and 1443 sqft. on the upper level.

Q: Are there other prizes besides the Dream Home?
A: Yes, new this year we will be giving away keys for a 2024 Ford Mustang, cash prizes of $10,000 (X1) & $5,000 (X4), and vacation vouchers of $10,000 (X1) & $5,000 (X4).

Q: If I win a secondary prize am I still eligible for other secondary prizes and the Grand Prize (Dream Home)?
A: Yes, if you win a secondary prize, your ticket is placed back into the drum for all of the next draws. The drum will then be spun twice in each direction before another ticket is drawn.

Q: Do I need to attend the draw in-person to win?
A: No, all winners not present will be contacted directly.

Q: Where and when will the draw be held?
A: The draw will be held live on Friday, February 28th, 2025, commencing at 7:00 pm (first intermission of the Kingston Frontenacs Home Game) at the Slush Puppie Place, located at 1 Tragically Hip Way, Kingston ON, K7K 0B4.

Q: How much are the property taxes?
A: At this time, the property taxes have not been assessed by the municipality, but likely will range between $7,000-$12000 annually.
